PCP conversion
Well the prototype is shooting now so I'm sending
it to the machine shop for their view and pricing.
Keep watching

qb36-2/xs36-2
Hi I'm very pleased to see that you offer this
service, as I've read that a QB36-2 can be made
decent by cleaning out and lubing it properly,
filing down the poorly machined edges, and
replacing the internal plastic parts (spring
guide etc) with custom made metal parts. I'd be
extremely interested in one of these guns. I've
found them for £70-£80 online so I wonder how
much you'd charge for a tuned one. Please could
you let me know the price if I bought one from
you, and the price if I bought one elsewhere and
sent it to you for tuning. Thanks for your time,
and keep up the good work!

XS36-2
I got my XS36-2 a few weeks ago from QB Tune. I
was very impressed with the service. Great
communication and very prompt and helpful replies.
As for the XS36-2, well I love it! Its a great
chunky looking rifle- much more man-sized than my
previous (a BSA meteor). It looks almost like a
shotgun from a distance. It's firing at full
power, and I can hit a spinner every time at
about 30yards. I'd say if you're looking for
something a bit different then get one of these.
The underleaver is smooth and a suprisingly easy
pull. The stock looks good with that added QB
Tune sparkle! Best of all I feel confident in it
knowing that its all smoothed, cleaned, and lubed
inside. The XS36-2 is quite weighty, so I asked
Ian to add a sling to it for me. I'd recommend
this if you're carrying it far when hunting. I
got my first rabbit with it recently, after
spending some time getting used to it and setting
up a scope. Ian has been great help at answering
my numerous questions, and I feel confident that
his after-sales service extends far after
purchase. Thanks QB-Tune! I may have to get one
of those XS78's for myself at some point!

All sounds great but....
Where on the site do I find a price list for all
the various and tempting mods.
I bought my QB78 as it was cheaper than getting
my Crossman fixed -the co2 cylinders were always
sticking in the barrell.

Still no PCP?
Despite the obvious editing/deletion of posts
there seems still to be no "news" concerning the
PCP. Is this going to return as a product or not?

PCP lost in machine shop
Anyone know if the PCP conversion is coming back?
Ever?

I gave up waiting for a PCP conversion
and sold my QB on before the mail order law
change comes into effect - picked up a nice
secondhand Air Arms 400. Thanks for nothing guys.

I ordered one of these QB78's back in April I
think it was. I was told it would take about 12
days as some parts were third party and had to be
ordered. This was fine and I paid my £250 up
front by PayPal. After around 60 days, an endless
number of emails and calls and many colourful
excuses, such as: "I have been I'll", "parts
haven't turned up", "I poured cleaning fluid over
it", etc etc etc, I had still not seen my rifle.
There is a great deal of difference between 12
days and 60. Also, there was no contact from Ian
anymore to let me know the progress or lack of of
my order.
Obviously I cancelled.
I was told I would have to pay a 15% cancellation
charge, rather unfair I thought and I couldnt
work out what I had got for my 15% other than the
runaround, but to draw the matter to a close and
to get my money back I agreed.
It is now the end of October and after so many
calls and emails that I have forgotten the
number, I received a cheque for £90 with the rest
still outstanding.
I am going to write this everywhere on every
Airgun related site I can find, this is an awful
way to be treated for someone who had been so
patient and fair.
I have kept all the emails top and fro and dates
etc along with arecord of the calls.
I will not rest untill I get ALL my money back
and I strongly advise anyone who shops on the web
for airguns and related parts to use only large
reputable stores such as Uttings and Blackpool
Airguns, lest you end up out of pocket as I am,
for the moment anyway. Looks like I'm not the
only one (see above)
